Do I have to finish a course in one sitting?
No. Your progress saves automatically after every slide. Log in from any device and you'll be exactly where you left off. Each course is 200 instructional minutes; most people do it in a few sessions.
Is there a test?
No. TREC does not require an exam for an elective CE course. Each section ends with a short knowledge check: you reveal each answer and confirm you've read it. It is required to move on but it is not graded and there is no passing score.
Why can't I click Next right away?
TREC counts one CE hour as 50 minutes of instruction, so each slide has a minimum read time and the course delivers its full 200 minutes. That is what makes your certificate valid.
Why do you ask me security questions during the course?
Texas requires an online provider to verify that the license holder who enrolled is the person completing the course. When you enroll you set three security questions; one is asked at each section boundary and at a few random points along the way. Every check is logged.
Can I take more than one course?
Yes. One account covers all five courses. Add any course from your dashboard; each is 4 TREC CE hours and each is paid separately at $29.99 standard.
Do these courses satisfy my whole 18-hour renewal?
No. Texas renewal requires 18 hours every two years: 8 hours of Legal Update I and II, 3 hours of contract-related coursework, and electives (brokers also need the 6-hour Broker Responsibility course). Our courses are electives unless TREC's written approval designates a course as contract-related, and they do not replace Legal Update or Broker Responsibility.
When is my completion reported to TREC?
After you finish and pay. TREC's rule is no sooner than the course's clock hours after you started and no later than the 10th calendar day after completion; we report well inside that window. Then renew at trec.texas.gov (TREC charges its own renewal fee).
What does a course cost?
Standard price is $29.99 per course, one time, everything included. Founding members (our first 100 customers) pay $24.99. Once you've taken a course with us, every future course is $19.99, locked in for life.
How does pay-later work?
Enroll and take the entire course free. Pay the one-time fee whenever you like. Your certificate and TREC reporting unlock once you've both finished the course and paid.
What do I do after I finish?
Download your certificate from your dashboard and keep it with your renewal records. Then renew your license through TREC's REALM portal. The CE requirement shows as satisfied once our report posts.
Which licenses do these courses cover?
Texas real estate sales agents and brokers renewing an active license. Inactive license holders do not need CE to renew inactive, but must satisfy it before returning to active status.
