Privacy Policy

RealtorRenewalTX is operated by Renewed CE LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

What we collect

• Account and license information you give us: your name as licensed, TREC license number, license type, email, and the security questions and hashed answers you set for identity verification address. We need these to deliver the course and to report your completion to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Course activity: which modules you completed, the instruction time recorded for each, and your identity-checkpoint results, plus a log of every identity challenge and knowledge-check confirmation. Texas requires us to keep these records (22 TAC §535.65).
• Mobile number (optional): only if you provide it. We only send text messages if you separately opt in, and we record when and how you consented.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To deliver the course and issue your certificate.
• To report your completion to TREC. This is required by law and is the entire point of taking the course.
• To email you about your course: enrollment confirmation, progress reminders, payment, your certificate, and your license renewal.
• To answer you when you contact support.

What we share

We do not sell your personal information. Ever. We share it only with:

• TREC. Your name, license number, license type, and completion date, as the law requires.
• Service providers that operate the site on our behalf: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, and Google and Meta (advertising and analytics tags on our public pages). They may only use it to provide those services.
• If legally compelled: a subpoena, court order, or a TREC audit or investigation.

Text messages

We only text you if you affirmatively opted in. Consent is never a condition of purchase. Expect roughly one to three messages a year, primarily your license renewal reminder. Reply STOP at any time to stop immediately, or turn reminders off from your dashboard. Message and data rates may apply.

Email

Course-related emails (enrollment, payment, certificate, renewal) are part of the service. You can reply "unsubscribe" to any of them to stop course reminders; we'll still send anything required to complete a transaction you started or that the law requires.

How long we keep it

Texas requires CE providers to retain participant completion records for at least four years (22 TAC §535.65). We keep account and completion records at least that long, and typically longer so your loyalty renewal price and past certificates remain available to you.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Card data goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.

Your choices

• Get a copy of your records, or ask us to correct them.
• Turn off text reminders any time (STOP, or your dashboard).
• Ask us to delete your account. Note: we may have to retain completion records to satisfy TREC's retention rule and cannot un-report a completion already sent to the state.

Texas residents: we do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

This site is for licensed tradespeople and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to active customers.
