Privacy Policy

RenewEd CE Land Surveyor is operated by Renewed CE LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

What we collect

• Account and license information you give us: your name as licensed, Texas license number, license type, and email address. We need these to deliver the course and to print your certificate.
• Course activity: which modules you completed, the instruction time recorded for each, and your knowledge-check answers. We keep these so we can reissue your certificate and show what it is based on.
• Mobile number (optional): only if you provide it. We only send text messages if you separately opt in, and we record when and how you consented.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To deliver the course and issue your certificate.
• To email you about your course: enrollment confirmation, progress reminders, payment, and your certificate.
• To answer you when you contact support.

What we share

We never sell your personal information for money, and we never hand an advertiser your license number, your course records or your mobile number. Texas law counts some ordinary advertising as a "sale" or as "targeted advertising", and we do that much, so it is described below and you can opt out at any time. We share your information with:

• Nobody on your behalf. We do not send your completion to any government agency. Your certificate goes to you, and you decide who sees it.
• Service providers that operate the site on our behalf: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, our text-message delivery provider, our hosting provider, and Google and Meta (advertising and analytics tags on our site). They may only use it to provide those services. Ahrefs also provides privacy-focused visit analytics on our site and is not used for advertising.
• Advertising platforms, so we can find more people like our students. We may give Google and Meta a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address or name. A hash cannot be turned back into your details. We never give them your mobile number, your license number, or anything about your course. Ask us and we will remove you.
• If legally compelled: a subpoena, court order, or a request from a licensing agency with the legal authority to make it.

Text messages

We only text you if you affirmatively opted in. Consent is never a condition of purchase. Expect roughly one to three messages a year, primarily your license renewal reminder. Reply STOP at any time to stop immediately, or turn reminders off from your dashboard. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number: no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and your text-message consent is never sold, rented or shared. The only exception is the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf, which may not use your number for any other purpose.

Email

Course-related emails (enrollment, payment, certificate, renewal) are part of the service. You can reply "unsubscribe" to any of them to stop course reminders; we'll still send anything required to complete a transaction you started or that the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep account and completion records so your past certificates remain available to you, and you can ask us to delete them.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Card data goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.

Your choices

• Get a copy of your records, or ask us to correct them.
• Turn off text reminders any time (STOP, or your dashboard).
• Ask us to delete your account. Download your certificates first: once your records are deleted we cannot reissue them.

Texas residents: we do not sell personal data for money, but two things we do may count as a "sale" or as "targeted advertising" under Texas law, so we treat them as both. First, the Google and Meta tags on our public marketing pages. Those tags also run on your dashboard and course pages, so we can see which pages help students finish. They never receive your name, email address, license number, quiz answers or certificate. Second, giving Google or Meta a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address or name so they can show our ads to people like you. To opt out of either, email us and we will honor it and remove you from those audiences, or use a browser setting or extension that blocks the tags.

Children

This site is for Texas-licensed Professional Land Surveyors and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to active customers.
