Do I have to finish the course in one sitting?
No. Your progress saves automatically after every slide. Log in from any device and you'll be exactly where you left off.
Is there a test?
No. Texas TDLR does not require an exam for A/C & refrigeration contractor continuing education. Complete all the course material and you're done. Each section ends with a short review to help the material stick.
Why can't I click Next right away?
Texas CE hours are measured in instruction time (one CE hour = 50 minutes). Each slide has a minimum read time so the course genuinely delivers the 8 hours TDLR requires. That's what makes your certificate valid.
When is my completion reported to TDLR?
We report completions to TDLR promptly. The state deadline is 7 days, and we beat it. After it posts you can renew at tdlr.texas.gov (TDLR charges its own renewal fee). Keep your certificate of completion for at least one year.
What does the course cost?
The standard price is $39.99, one time, everything included. Our first 100 customers pay the founding price of $29.99. That discount is applied automatically at checkout while spots remain, so enroll now to lock it in. And once you've taken the course with us, every future year's loyalty renewal is $24.99: locked in for life. Shops with several licensed contractors: email support for group pricing.
How does the lowest price guarantee work?
Find a TDLR-approved 8-hour ACR contractor CE course advertised for less than our price and we'll beat that price by 20%. Email the link or a photo of the ad to support before you pay and we'll send you a personal discount code. No fine print, no memberships required.
How does pay-later work?
Enroll and take the entire course free. Pay the one-time $39.99 fee whenever you like. Your certificate and TDLR reporting unlock once you've both finished the course and paid.
What do I do after I finish?
Download your certificate from your dashboard and keep it at least one year. Then renew your license on the TDLR website. The CE requirement will show as satisfied once our report posts.
Which licenses does this course cover?
Licensed Texas air conditioning & refrigeration contractors, Class A and Class B, with the environmental air, refrigeration, or combined endorsement. Texas requires the same 8 hours (including 1 hour of Texas law & rules) for every ACR contractor license.
I'm a registered technician, do I need this course?
No. Registered and certified technicians renew their TDLR registration without any continuing education requirement. The 8-hour CE applies only to licensed contractors. You're welcome to take the course for your own knowledge, but the state doesn't require it for a technician renewal.
