RenewEd CE Receives TREC Approval for Five Online Texas Real Estate Continuing Education Courses
Four-hour electives give Texas sales agents and brokers flexible options covering finance, agency, contracts, forms, and core principles

RenewEd CE, a Houston-based online continuing education provider, today announced that five four-hour real estate continuing education courses are approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission and available online. The courses operate under TREC CE Provider #11429-CEP and are designed for Texas sales agents and brokers seeking elective continuing education options.
The catalog covers Texas real estate finance, law of agency, contracts, promulgated contract forms, and core real estate principles. Each course is self-paced, accessible on mobile and desktop devices. Students may enroll and begin without paying, complete the course before payment, and receive a downloadable certificate after completion and payment. RenewEd CE submits completion records in accordance with TREC reporting requirements.
Real estate professionals work around their clients' schedules, so continuing education should fit around that reality. These courses focus on the Texas rules, forms, and concepts agents encounter in practice while giving them the flexibility to learn at their own pace.
The five approvals were issued September 9 and 10, 2026. Each course provides four elective CE hours:
- Texas Real Estate Finance. TREC Course #40251-RECE
- Texas Law of Agency: 4-Hour CE Practice Update. TREC Course #40246-RECE
- Texas Real Estate Contracts: 4-Hour CE Practice Update. TREC Course #40245-RECE
- Texas Promulgated Contract Forms: A 4-Hour CE Practice Update. TREC Course #40244-RECE
- Principles of Real Estate: A 4-Hour Elective CE Practice Update for Texas License Holders. TREC Course #40258-RECE
Texas sales agents renewing an active license generally need 18 hours of continuing education every two years, including Legal Update I and II, contract-related coursework, and elective hours. Brokers may have additional requirements. RenewEd CE's five courses are electives unless TREC's written approval designates a course as contract-related; they do not replace Legal Update courses or Broker Responsibility coursework.

Completing continuing education does not itself renew a real estate license. License holders must separately complete renewal through TREC and pay any applicable state fee.
