What's New at RenewEd CE: Occupational Therapy CE, Spanish Course Pages, and Faster TDLR Reporting

Here is what is new at RenewEd CE. This update covers three things: a new continuing education package for occupational therapists, Spanish language pages across every TDLR trade course, and a clearer look at how fast we get your completion in front of TDLR.

Occupational Therapy CE is open for enrollment. Our new package gives Texas occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants 22.5 contact hours across eight modules: the Texas OT Practice Act and ethics, documentation and billing, evidence based stroke and neurological rehabilitation, hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, pediatric and school based practice, geriatric care including dementia and fall prevention, mental health and psychosocial factors, and telehealth. Add the free 1.5 hour HHSC human trafficking course and you reach the full 24 hours Texas asks for every two years. It is self paced, works on your phone, and you can start free and pay only when you are ready. Note that this course covers CE for OT license renewal through the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, not TDLR, and the board does not collect completions from providers, so keep your certificate for your own records.

Every TDLR trade course is now available in Spanish. Electrician, towing, HVAC and A/C, cosmetology, barber, water well driller, property tax consultant, and auctioneer courses all have full Spanish pages now, switch with the EN or ES toggle on any course site. Our real estate courses, regulated separately by TREC, remain English only for now.
